Our recently restructured premises create the ideal historical setting for a refined and elegant hotel. Our ambience is characterised by a tasteful mélange of period furnishing and modern, design elements.

HISTORY

The hotel was one home to a local noble family testified by the coat of arms of the Varini Counts; later, the building passed into the hands of a famous historian, born in Rome but who lived and worked in Foligno: Ludovico Jacobilli.
In the 1800′s, the rooms where the restaurant are now located were home to the family of Michele Antonietti, master-baker and father of Colomba, an Italian heroine killed during the Battle of Rome which was part of the long-fought struggle for the creation of a united Italy.
Today, the building is again a single structure, maintaining its complex architectural structure. Its central location in the heart of Foligno is ideal for a relaxing stay in the city.
